Covenant Fellowship Sandpoint

Covenant Fellowship exists to bring glory to God by:
Making Disciples who Love God, Love Others, and Serve the Community
Covenant Fellowship has been on the heart of Pastor Evan Cookman and His wife Natasha since 2018. We are currently working out a training residency in Fairbanks Alaska with Journey Christian Church. We are so excited to begin the hard work of starting a church from scratch in the fall of 2024! We have a vision of starting a church body that is pursuing a deep and knowedgable relationship with God.

More than a mission Statement
Church shouldn't be a business model. To be sure a church needs direction and leadership, but everything we are doing is for the good of the souls of people. Covenant relies heavily on structure and adherence to Biblical principles. We want to be a healthy growing and vibrant church, but not just for the sake of growth. It is because we know that every person needs the peace of God in their lives. We hold to our mission statement as the definitive guide for what we are seeking to accomplish and how to accomplish it, but at our heart it is to share the light of God with those living in darkness, and to satisfy the hearts of those seeking God's righteousness. We love God because of who He is and what He has done for us. We love others because they are our brothers and sisters made in the image of God, and we serve our community to be the hands and feet of Christ in a community we love and cherish.

How to support Covenant Fellowship
We aren't planning on starting the process of starting the church until the fall of 2024. Right now we are in the support raising season of the church. So the two greatest things you can do to support our mission are...

PRAY!
Covenant Fellowship cannot exist without the prayers of Gods people.

Give.
Because we do not have a denominations support or the financial backing of an established church Covenant's early life will be reliant on the contributions of God's people.
